How do you evaluate job candidates for sales leadership and see if they have the right skills and mindset for sales in a startup?
A sales leader in a startup faces many challenges. At minimum, they have to:
persuade decision-makers at potential customer organizations without the weight of a big brand behind them to open doors,
build and help nurture sales and channel partnerships, and
hire and train sales teams to engage in value-based selling.
